Privacy Policy — Offline Live Interpreter

Offline Live Interpreter (“the app”) transcribes and translates speech between Korean and English on your device.

What stays on your device

• Audio from the microphone is processed on the device and is never stored or transmitted.
• Transcripts and translations are shown on screen and kept in memory for the current conversation. If you turn on “Save conversation history” in Settings, they are stored only on the device, in the app’s private storage. They are never transmitted.
• The app has no account and does not ask for your name, contacts, or location.

Usage statistics

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage statistics so we can see how the app performs. This includes: app opens and session length; settings in use (translation direction, face-to-face mode); for each spoken sentence, its language, length in seconds and how long transcription and translation took; model loading time; and error counts. It also includes device information such as model, OS version, country and language, and a random app-instance identifier. No advertising identifier is used. No audio, transcript or translation text is ever included.

This data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and retained according to Firebase’s default retention settings.

Permissions

• Microphone: required to hear speech. Used only while the app is open and listening.

Offline Live Interpreter(“앱”)는 한국어와 영어 음성을 기기 안에서 전사하고 번역합니다.

기기 밖으로 나가지 않는 것

• 마이크 음성은 기기 안에서만 처리되며 저장하거나 전송하지 않습니다.
• 전사문과 번역문은 화면에 표시되고 현재 대화 동안만 메모리에 유지됩니다. 설정에서 “대화 기록 저장”을 켜면 기기의 앱 전용 저장소에만 저장되며, 전송하지 않습니다.
• 계정이 없으며 이름, 연락처, 위치를 요구하지 않습니다.

사용 통계

앱의 동작 상태를 파악하기 위해 Google Analytics for Firebase로 익명 사용 통계를 수집합니다. 수집 항목: 앱 실행과 세션 길이, 사용 중인 설정(번역 방향, face-to-face 모드), 발화별 언어·길이(초)·전사와 번역에 걸린 시간, 모델 로딩 시간, 오류 횟수. 기기 모델, OS 버전, 국가와 언어, 무작위 앱 인스턴스 식별자도 포함됩니다. 광고 식별자는 사용하지 않습니다. 음성, 전사문, 번역문은 어떤 경우에도 포함되지 않습니다.

이 데이터는 Google 개인정보처리방침에 따라 Google이 처리하며 Firebase 기본 보관 기간에 따라 보관됩니다.

권한

• 마이크: 음성을 듣기 위해 필요합니다. 앱이 열려 있고 듣는 중일 때만 사용합니다.
